The Power of Yes

If God said it was going to happen, it's going to happen. If God said it was going to get done, it's going to get done. Nobody can stop it, nobody can block it, and nobody can influence the outcome.

You see, when God makes a promise, He stands by that. And when we take Him at His glorious word (the bible), when we put all our faith in Him, then there's no reason to think otherwise. He wants to bless us. He wants us to live an abundant life. He wants us to be fruitful and multiply. That means He doesn't want us to stop living. He doesn't want us to give up. He doesn't want us to ever lose hope that He will do what He said He would do. 

For many of you reading this blog post, He has made a promise to you that you are holding on to. He has sent you numerous reminders through His word, and through His prophets, apostles, and teachers. Only you know exactly what I'm referring to and that's for you and God. Yes, that is the thing I'm talking about. Keep your heart right concerning that matter, because God already said yes to it, which means it's already done.

"His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness. Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature (2 Peter 1:3/4a).
