40 years

If we're familiar with the story of the Israelites, we know they wandered in the wildernesses, the desert, for 40 years, because of their disobedience and negative attitude towards God (Numbers 32:13).  

How many of us have been like the Israelites? I know I have. I lost out on opportunities and blessings, because I wanted to do things my way instead of God's ways. And like the Israelites I found myself going round and round. That's not a good way to live. Today things are different. When God says move I move, just like that. My ear is tuned to Him and I don't want to miss out anymore. I don't want to go from season to season not bearing fruit. I should see fruit whenever it's harvest time. Not weak crops. 

Anyway, all I'm saying is that if you're going through the same thing the Israelites and I went through, let this post be a reminder that God is waiting. Because let's face it, 40 years is a long time.

Speak things as if they were
