Blessed to be a Blessing

One of the main reasons we are on this earth is to be blessed to be a blessing to others.

It's not for selfish gain, or being stingy, or anything like that. Can you even picture Jesus being that way? I can't. He helped people and He continuously went out of His way to ensure they were loved and respected. He was the perfect man who will be a eternal model of what it means to live a blessed life. If only we could be half of what He will always be -- perfection at its finest. We can, however, strive to though. We can encourage others and tell them about Jesus who died on the cross for them. We can inspire others and tell them that Jesus loves them unconditionally. We can love others and tell them that through Jesus they will live on in heaven forever. "And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work" (2 Corinthians 9:8). You're blessed.
