God's promise is still there

Do you know that what God promised you, is still there? Oh yes, it's still there. It's just that you can't see it in the natural. You can only see it with your spiritual eyes. You see, that's how faith works. It's the substance or confidence of things we hope for and the evidence, assurance, certainty, and proof of things not yet seen. Hebrews 11:1 is proof of that. So, when you start getting down, as we all do from time to time, about things that God promised you -- things God showed you, but they haven't been manifested yet, know this: what you want manifested in your life will still happen. It will come to pass. It will show itself in your life. But this is the thing though: it will only show itself if you do not give up and lose hope, because it's taking so long.
Do you know that you have things in your life that somebody else is praying for? Do you know you are blessed with certain things that somebody has been waiting for, for a very long time? And the same applies to them. If we do give up, there's a high probability that what we want to see, will not be seen. Look at the scripture again my friends. Hebrews 11:1 says, faith is the substance hoped for, the evidence of things unseen. Faith. Yes, that power word that we often underestimate, because it takes too much trust in the things we can't control. If we could control everything, why in the world would we need God regarding bringing things to fruition?

So, we have to believe that what's on the other side is worth getting. And we have to be willing to go through all the things we can't see to be able to get there. We can get there. Keep your faith no matter how long it takes to get what God promised you, because everybody is waiting for something

God blesses whomever he wants to bless, whenever he wants to bless them

Daily Devotional Podcast. Follow along with blog post. When I was going through a dark time -- when I had nothing -- there was a certain person who helped me sometimes. She helped me whenever she basically felt like it, but she did help, and for that I'm appreciative. But, something interesting happened after I started growing out of my despair. Something interesting started happening when I no longer needed her for anything. And something interesting happened even though I remained kind and grateful towards. The interesting thing that happened was that she started hating on me. She started treating me differently. At first I was really bothered by it, because I thought she and her husband were nice people I wanted in my life. I liked that they had a sense of compassion and were interested in helping people who were down and low. That really appealed to me, because I was raised that way; my mother was raised that way; her mother was raised that way, and it goes back to as fa

We can do so much more in our lives when we have momentum and movement. It’s about standing, literally and not sitting or laying around feeling sorry for ourselves. I used to do that once upon a time and that sorrowful thinking is for the birds. We don’t have to be down. We can get up and get going even if we start small. In fact, I love starting small, because it helps set a firm foundation of habits and routines. Eagles fly above the storm

Daily Devotional Podcast. Follow along with Blog Post. Are you an eagle? Do you know, eagles fly above the storm and they wait for the winds to carry them to greater heights?  That's right, as the storm is raging below, they are soaring above it all. They don't escape the storm, mind you. They simply use the storm to lift themselves to higher magnitudes. It's a though they know the storm is temporary; that they will indeed rise above it; and that they are riding the storm. I find all of that fascinating, because we can take the model of the eagle and do the same. Why can't we? We can imitate the eagles intelligence, push-through, and perseverance to weather any storm -- the storms of life that will come. If we will just know that God will never give us more than we can handle, then we will come out victorious.  As you going through anything today? Are you worried about anything in particular? Just know, you can rise above it all. Nothing is too big for G
