This is the day the Lord has made

"This is the day the Lord has made, let's rejoice and be glad in it!" Many of us have heard that scripture before, right? It comes from Psalm 118:24. And it's one of my favorite scriptures. Like certain words, lyrics, and names, there are some scriptures I just love repeating -- certain scriptures that get me in a good mood. Scriptures that remind me that everything is going to be alright no matter what. That's what Psalm 118:24 does. It's just a happy scripture. 

So yes, this day, tomorrow and even the days after that and the days after that...are all the days the Lord has made and guess what? They are going to be awesome days. I refuse to think anything less than them being wonderfully fulfilling days, simply because the Lord has made them. And He wants us to enjoy every last one of them simply, because they exist. Yes it's all so much easier said than done. That, I know and I have to at least have the outlook I have that God has so much more in store for us who love Him. So why not rejoice and be glad in that?
