God is Right on Time

Most of us have heard the phrase, 'God may not always come when you want Him, but He's right on time.' Isn't that the truth? I know that in more ways than one. Just yesterday I saw Him work in my life. I was trying to get certain technology for a project and it was extremely difficult. Hardly anything was coming together and I had been trying for months, close to about a year actually. Anyway just a few days ago I stumbled across a great system that will help me tremendously. It will allow me to help people faster and more efficiently. Now I know why those doors didn't open. Now I realize why nothing was coming together regarding that.

Sometimes we try to bust down a door or two or ten and then we eventually realize why they never opened. God has something bigger, better, and more efficient. And yes that can all be in the form of people, places, and things, like technology in my case. God came right on time and I'm so thankful. I think we can also call that favor -- another blessing bestowed on God's people. Isn't it great to be in the kingdom? You betcha. So I will seek first God's kingdom and His righteousness. Then all the things I need to happen in my life, will happen. Matthew 6:33 tells me so.

Eagles fly above the storm

Daily Devotional Podcast. Follow along with Blog Post. Are you an eagle? Do you know, eagles fly above the storm and they wait for the winds to carry them to greater heights? That's right, as the storm is raging below, they are soaring above it all. They don't escape the storm, mind you. They simply use the storm to lift themselves to higher magnitudes. It's a though they know the storm is temporary; that they will indeed rise above it; and that they are riding the storm. I find all of that fascinating, because we can take the model of the eagle and do the same. Why can't we? We can imitate the eagles intelligence, push-through, and perseverance to weather any storm -- the storms of life that will come.
