Walk in your truth

Daily Devotional Podcast. Follow along with blog post.

Do you know God accepts you for you? I'm not saying He created you or I to live any way we choose. No, I mean God made each of us to walk in His ways -- His light. And when we do that, we are acceptable and pleasing to Him. So we have to choose wisely. He created us to be true to His creation, which was made new in us when we decided to give our lives to Him through salvation.

So, do you know your walk with Him isn't in vain, but it means something and God sees you? 2 Corinthians 5 talks about reconciliation, which is another way of saying God restored us to Him when He died on the cross for us. Yes, He restored us. Isn't that awesome? It's awesome on many levels. One being, that since we were reconciled by God, we are now covered by His amazing grace and we can tell others about it. Yes. 2 Corinthians 5:17-20 says, "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here! All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God."

We have to stay true to the God who made us right with Him. And to walk boldly in that truth. That doesn't mean we can just be any ole body we want to be though. It just means we are to walk in who God called us to be and only He who called us to be, which are wonderful creations. So be encouraged in the Lord today as you stay in tune with who God called you to be and what He called you to do in this magnificent world. Yes, walk in that truth.

God blesses whomever he wants to bless, whenever he wants to bless them

Daily Devotional Podcast. Follow along with blog post. When I was going through a dark time -- when I had nothing -- there was a certain person who helped me sometimes. She helped me whenever she basically felt like it, but she did help, and for that I'm appreciative. But, something interesting happened after I started growing out of my despair. Something interesting started happening when I no longer needed her for anything. And something interesting happened even though I remained kind and grateful towards. The interesting thing that happened was that she started hating on me. She started treating me differently. At first I was really bothered by it, because I thought she and her husband were nice people I wanted in my life. I liked that they had a sense of compassion and were interested in helping people who were down and low. That really appealed to me, because I was raised that way; my mother was raised that way; her mother was raised that way, and it goes back to as fa

Protecting My Peace - Day 98 - Momentum and Movement, That’s What's Up

Click to listen to current podcast episode. “Never Giving Up” are power-words — strong affirmations that give us momentum and movement. That’s what’s up. We can do so much more in our lives when we have momentum and movement. It’s about standing, literally and not sitting or laying around feeling sorry for ourselves. I used to do that once upon a time and that sorrowful thinking is for the birds. We don’t have to be down. We can get up and get going even if we start small. In fact, I love starting small, because it helps set a firm foundation of habits and routines. Momentum and movement will help us get and maintain a position of strength to do what God says we can do. Speak things as if they were

Daily Devotional Podcast. Follow along with blog post. Do you know you have the power to speak things into existence? Do you know you have the power to change your atmosphere? Oh yes, so speak life to your life and know that the Lord's Word never comes back void. It is always alive and active. It's never too late to start speaking over your life. In   Mark 11 :24 Jesus says, "therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours"  and   Proverbs 23 :7 says, "for as a man thinks in his heart, so is he."  Those verses are proof that when something lives in our heart, all we have to do is open our mouths and speak those things as if we already had them. It's amazing how much power we really have, but we throw it away, because of our lack of faith. I've done that for years and let me tell you, it's not happening anymore. I'm not giving no thing, no one, and no place another inch of m
