Staying with God

"Do not fret [worry] because of those who are evil or be envious of those who do wrong" (Psalm 37:1).

Translation? You're not missing anything not being a part of the "hip cool" crowd. Trust and believe that. All that matters is that you position yourself around the people with a vision who live for the Lord. They are the ones who will become more in life, because they will be able to possess natural and supernatural power. Now, that's power. Consequently, it doesn't matter if things seem boring or ordinary, because you can best believe there is much movement behind the scenes. And you can best believe that God is going to show people how it's done through your life. You have been serving Him and serving Him some more. Don't think any of it has been in vain. God honors those who honor Him. Yet, serving and honoring God doesn't mean everything will go perfectly, because we will still have our challenges. Challenges make us stronger within ourselves and most importantly, stronger in God who will be with us the entire time. That's a fact. I give thanks to you, O Lord my God, with my whole heart, and I will glorify your name forever" (Psalm 86:12).

So stay with the strong and positive people who are leading with Christ. And continue to watch and monitor carefully, who you let in your space. Stay around good, not evil. You will be better for it -- we all will be better for it -- there's no doubt about that. Staying with positive means staying with God, which means having leverage and longevity. Stay with positive.  photo ISH Signature_zps7zfuxzga.png

Protecting My Peace - Day 98 - Momentum and Movement, That’s What's Up

Click to listen to current podcast episode. “Never Giving Up” are power-words — strong affirmations that give us momentum and movement. That’s what’s up. We can do so much more in our lives when we have momentum and movement. It’s about standing, literally and not sitting or laying around feeling sorry for ourselves. I used to do that once upon a time and that sorrowful thinking is for the birds. We don’t have to be down. We can get up and get going even if we start small. In fact, I love starting small, because it helps set a firm foundation of habits and routines. Momentum and movement will help us get and maintain a position of strength to do what God says we can do. Protecting My Peace - Day 96 - Disciplining Ourselves for Next Level Greatness

Click to listen to today's podcast episode. When it comes to next level greatness, we have to know that applies to us, not just everyone else. Do you know what God has for you? Do you? He has GREATNESS for you. Yes, YOU -- all of us. It's about doing what you can do and only you can do. You are the only one with your DNA -- none of us. is the same Yet, even when we're feeling down, discouraged, and out, those emotions are only temporary. None of us has it all together. Sometimes I procrastinate and put things off when I know I should be doing better. Yet, I am not as diligent and disciplined as I can be sometimes. Like when it comes to working out, I delay it, because I don't like it anymore. And although I love reading the bible, I haven't been reading it as often as I should lately. Yes, I, Sharon, the Faith Coach, do not do the things I'm supposed to do when I'm supposed to do them. And that my dear friends should not come as a shock to no one. It certa...

Protecting My Peace - Day 95 - We Have to Stop Giving Away Our Power

Click to listen to today's podcast episode. Are you giving away your power? Are you letting people take control over our lives? If so, it’s time to stop operating like that. If we’re letting anyone influence us to the point that it’s causing us emotional pain or taking our peace, we have to move away from such people. It doesn’t matter if it’s in a personal or professional environment. Stay positive and productive in the process though, because dealing with challenges are part of the life process. Nevertheless, we can “fight” for our right for peace and respect. We just fight smart and continue to know who we are, especially who we are in Christ Jesus.
