Overflowing with blessings

Daily Devotional Podcast. Follow along with blog post.

Filled and overflowing with blessings.
This is what I know about God. He will do what we can't. What I mean is when we do our part, God will fill in the gaps. And when He fills in the gaps, there's going to be overflow -- overflow with blessings. Do you believe you can get what you've been waiting for? Do you believe God will move in your life? Do you believe God will supply your every need? It's all true, He will do all of that. But this is the thing though: we have to believe overflowing with blessings can happen to us in any given area of our lives or areas of our lives. Don't stop believing that you can get what you want. Don't stop believing what lives in your heart can come true. Don't abandon what you desire for your life. Some people give up their dreams, don't you be one of them. Some people don't think great things can happen to them, don't you be one of them. Victory can happen to you and abundance can happen to you too. Victory and abundance can happen to all of us, I'm telling you. If blessings have to happen to someone, why can't it be you? What can't it be I, right? It can, because we know God is a huge God. So we have to have faith that it can indeed happen to us. We have to believe it. We have to picture ourselves living it. We have to picture ourselves in blessing overflow.

Just picture a glass full of rocks and pebbles. Can that glass ever completely fill up without leaving empty spaces? It can't. It's impossible, but God will fill in the empty spaces. He will fill in the gaps. Yes He will do it. Philippians 4:19 says, "And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus." God will do it. He will give you overflow with blessings in your life, because great things can happen to you too.

God blesses whomever he wants to bless, whenever he wants to bless them

Daily Devotional Podcast. Follow along with blog post. When I was going through a dark time -- when I had nothing -- there was a certain person who helped me sometimes. She helped me whenever she basically felt like it, but she did help, and for that I'm appreciative. But, something interesting happened after I started growing out of my despair. Something interesting started happening when I no longer needed her for anything. And something interesting happened even though I remained kind and grateful towards. The interesting thing that happened was that she started hating on me. She started treating me differently. At first I was really bothered by it, because I thought she and her husband were nice people I wanted in my life. I liked that they had a sense of compassion and were interested in helping people who were down and low. That really appealed to me, because I was raised that way; my mother was raised that way; her mother was raised that way, and it goes back to as fa

Protecting My Peace - Day 98 - Momentum and Movement, That’s What's Up

Click to listen to current podcast episode. “Never Giving Up” are power-words — strong affirmations that give us momentum and movement. That’s what’s up. We can do so much more in our lives when we have momentum and movement. It’s about standing, literally and not sitting or laying around feeling sorry for ourselves. I used to do that once upon a time and that sorrowful thinking is for the birds. We don’t have to be down. We can get up and get going even if we start small. In fact, I love starting small, because it helps set a firm foundation of habits and routines. Momentum and movement will help us get and maintain a position of strength to do what God says we can do. Speak things as if they were

Daily Devotional Podcast. Follow along with blog post. Do you know you have the power to speak things into existence? Do you know you have the power to change your atmosphere? Oh yes, so speak life to your life and know that the Lord's Word never comes back void. It is always alive and active. It's never too late to start speaking over your life. In   Mark 11 :24 Jesus says, "therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours"  and   Proverbs 23 :7 says, "for as a man thinks in his heart, so is he."  Those verses are proof that when something lives in our heart, all we have to do is open our mouths and speak those things as if we already had them. It's amazing how much power we really have, but we throw it away, because of our lack of faith. I've done that for years and let me tell you, it's not happening anymore. I'm not giving no thing, no one, and no place another inch of m
