You can walk on water too

"Immediately Jesus made the disciples get into the boat and go on ahead of him to the other side, while he dismissed the crowd. After he had dismissed them, he went up on a mountainside by himself to pray. Later that night, he was there alone, and the boat was already a considerable distance from land, buffeted by the waves because the wind was against it. Shortly before dawn Jesus went out to them, walking on the lake. When the disciples saw him walking on the lake, they were terrified. “It’s a ghost,” they said, and cried out in fear. But Jesus immediately said to them: “Take courage! It is I. Don’t be afraid.” “Lord, if it’s you,” Peter replied, “tell me to come to you on the water.” “Come,” he said. Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus. But when he saw the wind, he was afraid and, beginning to sink, cried out, “Lord, save me!” Immediately Jesus reached out his hand and caught him. “You of little faith,” he said, “why did you doubt?” And when they climbed into the boat, the wind died down. Then those who were in the boat worshiped him, saying, “Truly you are the Son of God” (Matthew 14:22-33).

You too can walk on water. Are you aware of that? Do you believe God? With faith, any of us can do anything as long as we keep our eyes on the Most High -- as long as we believe that what He has for us will come true. Therefore, if God says there's more for our lives and if He says we can walk on water, then we can do it if our faith is strong enough. If we want blessings after blessings we're going to have to trust God no matter how bad (or good) we think things are. God is a faithful God and He will come through as long as we think it's possible for Him to do so. So I ask you this: do you believe you can walk on water? If so, you can indeed do so. Whatever that walking on water is to you. It differs from person to person. Be blessed everybody and be encouraged as you go about your day in the Lord.

Speak things as if they were

Daily Devotional Podcast. Follow along with blog post. Do you know you have the power to speak things into existence? Do you know you have the power to change your atmosphere? Oh yes, so speak life to your life and know that the Lord's Word never comes back void. It is always alive and active. It's never too late to start speaking over your life. In Mark 11 :24 Jesus says, "therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours" and Proverbs 23 :7 says, "for as a man thinks in his heart, so is he." Those verses are proof that when something lives in our heart, all we have to do is open our mouths and speak those things as if we already had them. It's amazing how much power we really have, but we throw it away, because of our lack of faith. I've done that for years and let me tell you, it's not happening anymore.
