Proverbs 3:13 says, "blessed is the one who finds wisdom, and the one who gets understanding" and Proverbs 3:15 says, wisdom is more precious than jewels, and nothing you desire can compare with her (her being wisdom). What that all means is, when we obtain wisdom we are blessed and better off for it, because we're more equipped to make better decisions. Nothing can match wisdom. It means we're wiser than we were yesterday. We have taken the knowledge we have gained through our life's experiences -- what we've learned from the people, places, and things we've encountered and now we can apply that knowledge, as applicable, in our lives. Thus, wisdom goes a long way and it will produce awesome things. We all need wisdom and we can seek God to get it. In 1 Kings 3:1-15, in a dream God asked Solomon what He could do for him and Solomon asked for wisdom. God granted him wisdom, because Solomon didn't ask for riches for himself or harm for his enemies. We have to believe that what we ask for we will receive. Have you asked God for anything lately? Wisdom perhaps? He's available for the asking and He will give you what you need.
