Description:

"This walk of life is not an easy one. I know how hard it is, but the Lord doesn’t want us to give up. He wants us to be all we can be in order for Him to bless us to be a bigger blessing for others. Regarding the 10 Reasons Why Some People are Under Constant Stress and Pressure, if we can just work on 1 of the 10 things at a time I’m convinced the pressure, stress, and misery in our lives will decrease and will be eventually eliminated. Then when life’s challenging and difficult circumstances come we will have peace throughout it all. We will be in it for the long haul. I hope people can learn some things from my life. I hope one of the take-aways is that you don’t have to suffer unnecessary heartache, because the issues that come up in life are temporary issues that are made to strengthen us. I’m a witness.

You can be worry and stress free and sleep well at night. It’s going to take diligence on your part though, because nothing worthwhile comes easy. If you can see it you can achieve it. At this point in my life I have more peace than I ever had. Do I still have emotional pain, struggles and challenges? Most definitely, but I don’t lay around at night sad and depressed anymore about what happened to me. I’m using my writing and speaking to scream from the room tops that God has more for you! I know life happened to you and I know your pain is deep – it takes one to know one. Yet God has your back as you begin to turn everything the devil, the enemy of our lives, has used against us. He didn’t win. You won, so use those gifts God birthed in you. God is your help. That’s the only way it will happen or you will be constantly grasping for straws with no peace. Start working on those goals and dreams and trust God. You will see what happens and you won’t be disappointed."

I feel free

Daily Devotional Podcast. Follow along with blog post. How are you feeling today? What kind of head space have you been in lately? I ask, because I'm just wondering if anybody feels like me -- free like me. Free as an eagle. Free as can be. That's right, out with doing business the old stale way and in with a fresh new operation. It's a shifting happening in the atmosphere of Sharon's life and I'm moving on to the big and awesome things God has for me. What  do you say for yourself? What are you speaking over your life? What it is for you?
For me, I am no longer afraid to go out in the deep end. I am no longer afraid to fly higher, I am no longer concerned about what I have or do not have, and I am no longer concerned about what anybody thinks or says. Who the heck cares anymore? I don't. Because God tells me he doesn't give me a spirit of fear or timidity (2 Timothy 1:7), but He gives me a spirit of love, confidence, power, self-control, and joy. And I…

Encourage yourself in God

Do you know that no matter what you may be going through, you can encourage yourself in the Lord? And the Lord will give you the strength and power you need in order to get through? Yes, He will do it. He did it for David when David probably found it difficult to understand how he would endure. But, guess what? God was with him and God blessed him too. There are so many things I love about David. One of those things is that he encouraged himself in the Lord beyond the challenging circumstances he found himself in (1 Samuel 30:6).
When it seemed all was lost, David didn't give up. When everyone turned their backs on him, he stayed with his vision. When his family and community were taken, he went forth with what God told him to do. David never left the Lord in spite of his circumstances. I love that he did the opposite of what some of us would do, he stayed with God, he didn't run away from God. And he didn't try to take matters into his own hands. He ran towards the order…

Jesus gives mercy

"Then they came to Jericho. As Jesus and his disciples, together with a large crowd, were leaving the city, a blind man, Bartimaeus (which means “son of Timaeus”), was sitting by the roadside begging. When he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to shout, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!” Many rebuked him and told him to be quiet, but he shouted all the more, “Son of David, have mercy on me!” Jesus stopped and said, “Call him.” So they called to the blind man, “Cheer up! On your feet! He’s calling you.” Throwing his cloak aside, he jumped to his feet and came to Jesus. “What do you want me to do for you?” Jesus asked him. The blind man said, “Rabbi, I want to see.” “Go,” said Jesus, “your faith has healed you.” Immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus along the road."
Isn't that another great testimony about God's mercy? That story comes from Mark 10:46-52 and it's encouraging for a number of reasons. Namely, that Jesus had mercy on a …
