Proverbs 3-You’re blessed when you meet Lady Wisdom and when you make friends with Madame Insight

"You’re blessed when you meet Lady wisdom, when you make friends with Madame Insight. She’s worth far more than money in the bank; her friendship is better than a big salary. Her value exceeds all the trappings of wealth; nothing you could wish for holds a candle to her. With one hand she gives long life, with the other she confers recognition. Her manner is beautiful, her life wonderfully complete. She’s the very Tree of Life to those who embrace her. Hold her tight—and be blessed! With Lady Wisdom, God formed Earth; with Madame Insight, he raised Heaven." Proverbs 3:13-19

Need I say more about Proverbs 3:13-19? It's about wisdom and I am grateful that I have more than ever. It's been a long road, but when we give God a chance, He gives us chances. One doesn't usually come without the other. God is waiting for us to come to Him and ask Him to come inside our heart. When we do that, we have access to all He is and wisdom is part of it. In fact, I couldn't imagine gong through life without wisdom and good sense. Could you? Solomon, the writer of the majority of Proverbs, said when we make friends with her -- with Lady Wisdom -- it's more than money in the bank, because wisdom has long life, leverage, and stands the test of time. Oh yes, it can hold water and it's a sure foundation. The Word of God -- the bible, is always a great start (and finish), to gaining it. Wisdom, go get you some.

Those verses are proof that when something lives in our heart, all we have to do is open our mouths and speak those things as if we already had them.
