Nothing Can Stop You

Do you know you're going to travel where no man has ever gone before simply because you're the one traveling there? Yes, you're the one God is choosing to walk that walk, because you have accepted the assignment He has over your life. And get this: there are some forces that don't like it. They don't like the fact that God is using you to advance His kingdom, so I have come to encourage you to continue on despite what is trying to hold you back and discourage you from going forward. God is aware and He's got you covered from all flanks. Some devilish vessels don't like it when you're flowing in your gifts, but God is stronger than any force trying to come against you. You must continue on. You must continue to be strong in the face of negativity, fear, discouragement, and distraction, because God is going to use you for even greater than what you are already doing. Isaiah 43 :2-4 says, "Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by ...

Blessings Galore

Did you know God will not hold back all He has for us? We may not get everything we want, but let me assure you, we will most definitely get everything we need. If we will just trust Him to do what He said He would do in our lives, we will have all of our needs met and many of our wants. Yet we read God's word and we pray without ceasing, but we're not walking out what we say we believe. Why? Either we trust God or we don't. We have to push through even when things don't seem to be working in our favor. We cannot give up. When you watch super athletes, notice how they don't stop even when they're down. They continue on despite being beaten up on, despite that they may be in last place. And whether they come back to win or not, they stayed in to the end. That is the blessing. They never abandoned what they believed in, so they can still be called winners and they will get the blessings that come with hanging in there.  It's the same with us regarding...

Walk in Your Anointing

Be yourself. Walk to your own beat of your own drum. Walk in the anointing (special godly purpose) the Lord God gave you. There's too much in life to deal with so why not just stay in our lane and do whatever it is God wants us to do? When we do that we're much happier and definitely much more effective. It's about doing what we were born to do. "He anointed us, set his seal of ownership on us, and put his Spirit in our hearts as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come ( 2 Corinthians 1 :22). For much of my life I didn't operate fully in my gifts, but today is a different day. I'm no longer holding back. I'm no longer concerned about what anybody says. None of that means a thing to me anymore. I figure if I'm going to be talked about, I may as well do what God told me to do. I may as well walk in my gifts and my anointing. The same is the case with you. Don't let man hold you back. Seek the Lord and I'm telling you, He will direct you. ...

Write that VISION!

One of my all time favorite verses is Habakkuk 2 :2. I love it, because it's such a hopeful scripture. I have always been a visionary, so anything that talks about what thus says the Lord regarding the future of His great plans for His people, I love it. We need God's people to get the picture of what God is going to do. When I say the picture I'm talking about the vision God gives His people. If you will seek Him, He will give you a great glimpse into what He's going to do. He's not some elusive God who doesn't want us to have a clue. Will He give us the entire picture? No, I don't think so in the least. I don't think many of us could handle all He would do -- even the most faithful and spiritually mature couldn't. At any rate, writing down what God tells you regarding the future of your life is important, because it gives you greater focus. I don't know the mechanics of all of it. I just know it's something about the "power of the...

You're a Beautiful Princess

This goes out to all the ladies, especially the younger ladies. Yes, I love to encourage the younger girls, because I don't want them to go through all the hell I went through.  So ladies, do you know the Lord has more for you? Take a look at the story of Esther and read it in its entirety. It's a great story of so many things. One of them being about redemption and how God uses the people others have cast aside.  Esther was an orphan who was raised by her cousin after her parents died. I can just imagine the sadness and loneliness she felt. Her situation may be different than mine or yours, but sorrow is sorrow and emotional pain is emotional pain.  It hurts the same. Yet, there is good news though.  The Lord God who sits on high, wants you to know that you are loved today, yesterday, and tomorrow. So today I just want to remind you that you're a beautiful princess. Don't let anyone tell you any different and walk away from anybody who tries to disrespec...

Tired, but Grinding

Keep going even if you're tired, because the Lord is going to bless the diligent. Proverbs 10 :4 says, "poor is he who works with a negligent hand, but the hand of the diligent makes rich." In other words, we can't expect to go to the next level and not be willing to do anything great, as well as, being consistent at it. Lately I have been writing about hard work and being blessed to be a blessing. We have to start taking our goals seriously. We have to start thinking more on how we are going to be able to reach those God has in our sphere of influence. I will say this again: we are not here by accident ok? Every last one of us has a divine purpose on this earth. We must walk in it. I promise you that there is something magnificent that only you can do even if you see others doing it. God made you unique and wonderful. Nobody else has your DNA. To add more encouragement, I would like you to hear what my avatar has to say about it. Her name is Sha S...

The Little Big Things

There are so many instances where the little things we say and do can make somebody's day. You've heard the phrase, "somebody's trash is somebody's treasure" right? Well, it's true. What you give away without giving much thought to -- the little things that are easily overlooked -- can be a saving grace for somebody who really needed what you didn't think twice about. Imagine what would happen if we put a little bit more thought into what we just give out into the world. More people would be blessed by us, because we would make it a point for that to happen. So, don't despise the little things, the small things, or the things that don't make that much of an uproar. Zechariah 4 :10 says, don't despise these small beginnings , for the Lord rejoices to see the work begin. The small things can make a huge difference in somebody's life. Don't minimize your impact. To add more encouragement, I would like you to hear what my av...
